SINGAPORE AMAZING COMPETITION(SAMC)

Oh man oh man, where to begin!! Haha, okay firstly, this competition was like something completely out of the blue that we decided to take part in cos the first prize was a mini laptop & it was way tempting :P So the task of it was to raise a flag! &.. so we started making it like a few months ago & only realised how hmm, say, urgent it was when we were only left with a few weeks ehehe. And then dr pek (our mentor) actually pleaded the class to help us! :O He's amazing I tell you.

Us during judging! Whoa, the pressure was intense with all the people around us & observe how environmentally friendly it is!! :P

But nevertheless, with the help of our dear 301s :DD & a few others, WE WON! Ahaha :D it's amazing how it works, willpower, faith, help, determination & friends, best recipe to amazing miracles :)) Thanks to all again! :D Best of the best best best!

TEACHERS' DAY
Ah, that time of the year again :D Hmm, this year couldn't get around to buying roses for all the teachers.. So, I simply teamed up with my lovelies Beth & Huimin to made simple cards & heart keychains for all!! :D And of course for our special blonde teacher, it has to be extra special :) Haha, happy teachers' day! (Although i'm half hoping teachers don't actually read my blog right hahaha)

And afterwards, Cheryl & I went back to GYPS to visit our dear primary school which btw is going to get demolished this year to move to a new campus! :O And whoaa man, IT WAS FUN! (Not to mention the random detours me and cheryl took before actually reaching there! :P) So then, when we finaly reached, whoa, the nostalgia was overwhelming!! :O My gosh, so many faces, so many people, so many teachers, so many classmates :)) And whoa, nutcase reunion! Ahaha:D Cool shit.

25/40, I say good attendance baby :P

Oh man, hey, it's been 3 years, since we've all been apart, glad to see we'll all doing fine :D (And some exceptionally well right *wink to angeline* HAHA!) And 6A'06 stays in my heart forever :) And we're not gonna lose contact, we're not gonna become strangers! So let's meet up every year and then we'll resume being that funky class always :DD whoohoo!

:D Sports day as last day of the term! Great way to end it in my opinion!! Ahaha, and as usual, it was made extra special cos of all the nobellians :DD Awesome greenies! ^^

As planned & not planned, we gathered many many & headed off to West Coast Park after school that day! (and goshh no CCA yet! teehee) So the only thing we were pretty sure of was 'WCP' and that was our general direction ;) And I only planned for pizza.. & that's all, really.. hahaha!

So then just about when we were starting to try to figure out what to do..

Yumyum! Chester's right, it's really tasty! Hahaha :D I think most people didn't even get 2 slices ahahaha, sorry! Next time we order again okay ;) And anyway it was potluck so everyone brought some type of food to the sharing mat!! Like chips, drinks, MARSHMALLOWS & more more!!

Oh man it was sooo much fun!! You know the fun part about fail bbq plans is that.. when you are determined to roast that MARSHMALLOW, you can just make it work with a lighter, some scraps of paper & a burnt mat!! ;) hahahaha, and of course a brotherly hug to block out all the sea breeze! :D Good times good times!

And of course not forgetting the spastic parts of turning 15 as well! :D hahahah!

Loving 203!

Ehehe, I noticed this when I was reading through my archives!! It's simply because 301 stole my heart so fast that I somehow did kind of forgot that I loved 203 so dearly! :( Hahaha, guilty as charged! And I'm so happy I haven't lost the peeps' and still do go out sometimes :D But somehow haven't really talk to bestie in awhile, oi you! Haha :) And I miss Mr Yee for having been such a good good good mentor & always protecting us like we were his kids ):

Christmas Island!

Oh man! This is sooo like the best school trip ever! :D Meeting all these different seniors & plus getting to know ppl more like my husband & Kiona!! Xmas Island was so beautiful, and the evenings we had there eating dinner in the sunset & singing on park benches & naming ourselves Kings & Queens.. Now, that's something worth remembering! (OH AND SNORKELLINGGG!)

Going back to homeland!

Ohh, that December I went back to Myanmar myself & had like a long 3 weeks vacation! (Which i'm yearning for now) But still, it was a whole new different experience & I guess it was a different kind of fun! ;) My beautiful roots!

Going to BKK, Thailand!

:D LAND OF SHOPPING!! Never been to Thailand before, so that was SUPER fun! And finally it's the age where we're going overseas & finally knowing what we want to get there! Ahahaha, some more this time it was like only our one family tour thing which was really cool & it's not like all those big group tours we go for all the time! Ahaha, and quality time was awesome :)

And then the year passed like that, then we all welcomed 2009.. with mixed feelings, because it was class reshuffling! But bless me, I believe I'm lucky enough to end up in beloved 301!! I'm a lucky girl! :))

Taking Art as my Humanities!

I surprised myself actually ahaha, to be choosing something which I can't score the best in! I always did better in History & I keep telling myself that! But I guess it's what fits me! :D Art keeps me happy without mugging but CAB is kinda like negative aura but I mean the accompany in art is way comforting enough :)))

Fated to 301!

As random as 25 people can be put into one class, I'm so fortunate to be in a class full of nice girls & nice boys! Ahaha! Well, I guess I became the Mentor Rep for no reason but no regrets there cos all of them keep my life really interesting everyday hahahah! x) And we had a class chalet around May & that was way fun! :D One more year, lovelies! :D

And for some really long time, I struggled to make up my mind! But this year, with ethel & ziyi's support, I switched over to Art Club from beloved Netball! Yes, I love both actually! ;) Ahahha, but not regretting it though! Love the comm. people! :D

YES, finally I tried something that I don't usually do.. and when I meant try, it was like bangs that lasted for less than a month! Ahahah, it was quite fun though, i felt Korean for once in my life HAHA! And like sunyoung too :) We were "cha-mehs"! But well, it didn't last since it was so high maintainence! haahahha :)

OH BEE-TEE-DOUBLE U, WELCOME BACK SEMI K.! After a month-worth of Korea aka Kimchi land, girl's safe back on the sunny island! Wheeh!

Ahaha, man I got crazy eyebags! :O from sleeping early everyday!

Anywhoo :) I was FINALLY not fashionably late, and in fact, managed to see kimchi girl in time! And then had a really confusing time walking around the MRT exit at Dhoby Ghaut to locate people! It's seriously true that the place has too many exits! :( And sadly, due to that random commotion, we missed a little of the starting of Transformers! Oh well :D Back to basis, after that went to Singapore Flier since they have this $10 promotion for students, which are doods like us! (SIDE NOTE TO KATT, HUIMIN & WH: WE'LL STILL DO THIS AIGHT ;)!) Heh, so got up and wah, the 30 minutes on the flier is as fast as fast can be! Seriously, it's so sneaky, ahahha! It'll be over before you know it :)

Oh man!! Had an incredibly tiring day today! (but fun!) Anyway, baked again with Huimin! :D Today, with our combined forces, we made 2 cakes! Carrot cake & Banana cake! It looks yummy I tell you, but we'll only know tomorrow when we can finally munch on it for Fathers' Day! Teehee. Today we sped up I think, probably finished earlier than our first try! :P Muhaha, then afterwards since we had dinner & was full like crap, we decided to head down to the 'Swing Park' on the right exit of my place! And ahahha, we were trying out the anti-blur cam! :D

And I just realised, I've actually changed schools in my life so many times!! Ahahah, just that I didn't really you know.. notice!! Ahahha, wow.. my life..

3 years old: 1st pre-school which has already closed down now!
3 and a half years old: CRANE International School!
4 years old: ILBC enrolment!! (whoa, my old old school!) Mooost of my friends and memories stay here! I finished pre-kindergarten fast forwarded in like 6 months! & other than that, I made my first few best friends since KG! :D
P2/7 years old: I was a year earlier than everyone else! Anw, I transferred to YIEC, an American curriculum school! I remember the school taught me slack & wild! Aahahha! Okay, I VIVIDLY remember having to dance 'Tarzan & Jane' for a Christmas dance that year!! Had to wear this two-piece leopard-print Jane outfit where all the guys wore a Flintstone look-a-like Tarzan outfit! Ahahahha, good times...
P4/8 years old: I SKIPPED P3! I KNOW I DID!! I HAD TO READ THROUGH THE SCIENCE PART FOR PSLE! SHEEEEEESH. Ahaha I was back in ILBC! This time, I remember things a little clearer!
P4/8 and a half: L.T.(2) Girl High! This was.. the only government school I went to my whole life in Myanmar! I only remember the 1st in level then had like 400/400 score.. That school was HARDCORE! Anyway, then i had the biggest change of my life :)
9 years old: HELLO SINGAPORE! I landed in this little dot.. had to go through p4 all over again and landed in probably the best class of GYPS :) 4A! Hahaha.. well.. then the rest you know :)

I bet you didn't know I had such a vivid childhood! Ahahaha, and plus thanks to my Selective Memory Disorder, it's amazing I can remember all these stuffs! :P And oh, if you, by chance are any of my old classmates that I might remember???, remember to say HI!!!! :D thanks (k)!

SUP living beings :D Oh man, I woke up today being literally pulled out of bed by my formidably strong Grandma! So, good morning to that!! Yeah! Anyway I was out all day with the family and some Aunt, my mom's cousin, I think! I also think that they talk REALLY LOUDLY, ahaha, it's like a family trait, I remember I used to have a relative who could shout 4 stories below to chat with a neighbour! Hoho, anyway, did you know Sony cameras take really really good non-shaky pictures? Love it!

:D Actually, that's it for the day! I collapsed right to bed when I reached home, apparently due to lack of sleep, and ohhhhhhh! I've got something to share with you! Absoultely random, but never trust a drug that cures your disease/illness almost instantly! I can't find it on the net cos my parents don't really know how to spell the drug but there's this particular one pronounced as 'Penin-sa-lone' but I'm absoultely not sure about the spelling! Anyway, the story is that this drug is actually deadly! What it does is that it can cure almost anything really fast but the side-effects will kick in before you even know it! In my aunt's case, she ended up with sort of like expansion of bones, which makes your bone really weak and she ended up being slightly handicapped! Hmm! So, next time you're sick, never start with the strongest medicine and don't always trust the docs! :)

Yay, pretty short post! OH! and I bought this SIA air-stewardess outfit from Peninsula Plaza for like $19.90 and why? NO IDEA AND MOST PROBABLY FOR FUN, OR FOR A COSTUME PARTY, SO SOMEONE PLS HAVE ONE ALREADY!

OH DIOS MIO! aka OH MY GOD! in Brazilian language! :B Nice, phrase of the day, thingy! Thanks B. Other than that, let me take you past these few days shall we?

So anyway, I baked my first ever cake! No, really, I've never done much of cooking so needless to say, baking! (Unless the time we did apple crumbles in Yiong's place, but that's another story!) Teehee. So, with Huimin coming over to my house, we decided to experiment on a good healthy 'Apple.. umm.. Apple..' OH DIOS MIO, I FORGOT THE NAME OF THE CAKE I BAKED. :( Yeah well, I'll just call it whatever I want, so I name it 'APPLE YOGURT CAKE'. Yup, tempted to put 'of doom' behind it, but well.. this is not the time for it, is it? :) Hee.

After a good 15 minutes walk from Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 to Ave 3, we managed to get all the stuff we need and headed back to my crib where I, amazingly, had all the baking gear!!! Love me mom, and we started off by measuring stuff that we need! :D Heehe, to be perfectly honest, I did chose the easiest one in the recipe book, but c'mon at least it's better than the pre-made cake mix which is really tempting too, heheh! Lower perecentage of failure I'd say!

Mixing batter's not as easy as it seems, trust me!

Heh, we were scared it'll turn out weird really, but I guess it was not bad at all! And in our defence, first time ever, thumbs up c'mon! Hehe, quick fact about the cake: has apples, sultanas, yogurt, butter, sugar, flour, baking soda, sodium bicarbonate etc. :D And after 2 hours of hardwork, here's what it looks like:

And yanni and chester bailed out for billiard, so 1v1-ed with B! I won the 'Best in 7' series, woohoo! Good for me (:

He wasn't really much of a one-man show as they always criticise actually! And then I think the tall tall white guy, Gasol, was like second best! JUST THAT THE PART ABOUT THE OPERA IN HALF-TIME WAS SO OUT OF PLACE!! I bet whoever was watching the match would agree with me! For Magic, I think Dwight Howard wasn't up to game today, he got like 5 fouls! Five!! Lay off the anger, buff man! Then, Lewis was doing good 3 pointers but then they all started missing a lot in 2nd and 3rd quarter! And I was cheering into the screen, but no one heard me! Darn, oh well! :D

Well, hello :) Waking on a good lazy Sunday morning today's pretty lucky with such a good weather! Like me, I woke up at like 12.40 and we can all blame it on the weather! Teehee. Or if not for the weather, then there's always the smashing Saturday's PARTAYE to credit for :D

:D So, basically my Saturday actually started with going to school! SCHOOL! I know! hahah, but it was actually for a jewellery-making class by Yiong's mom, Aunty Theresa! So, that was frigging cool. So, it was a 2 hours session right, and the last time I made a ring was like half a year ago! My memory was so rusty and I couldn't even remember how to start! Hee. Anyway! So for that whole 2 hours, I made ONE ring! :D (as above!) And I must say right, the picture doesn't do much justice to the ring! (Only Huimin thinks it's nice D: Thank you darling!)

Ahaha anyway after that when I got back home, what went down was that my sister had like 7 friends over! And her friend brought Mahjong and Guitar Hero!! (plus a whole loads of other Wii games!) Mahjong was cool since they were playing with actual 'chips' hahah! Then, I ended up with a 20 cents profit! While my sister had like 22 bucks loss :P And after that, although Mahjong was still highly popular! We decided to switch to the Wii games with the crazy rabbits one, damn cute :D hahaha, anyway, Guitar Hero got confiscated because my sis' friends were getting so totured by my sister's awfully off-tuned singing!

Yes, this all started from like 4pm to what 12am? :) Haha, then I finally couldn't take it anymore and continued with my own routine of life, HEHE! Oooh yeah, my parents got me a gianormous world map! Oh man, it's so prettyyyyyy standing mighty on the wall!

See! It's taking up the part where I used to paste post-its for Bio! And it's so big it stretches over the whole wall! It's sweeeeeeeeet. Oh yeah, and you should know that I'm no geography enthusiast or what! But but, you know the map is just the start of my dreams :) Cos the next time I see some parts of this map, it won't be from my room! Hehe. And here's some colour coding! :P

See, the left pic is actually coded Red for "Been-to"s and the right pic is coded Yellow for "Where-to"s! :D Heh, as you can see, I'm so highly Asia-oriented I tell you! Ahaha, I've never stepped out of our lovely continent except for that time in Christmas Island, which is a good debate because it's so much nearer to Indonesia than Australia to begin with! :P And up till now, I've actually already yellow-coded all these countries:

So, after waking up at when the sun is right about directly on top of our heads, I headed over to Dhoby's Cathay to supposedly catch 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past' with Ziyi & Huimin! :D BUT INSTEAD! we ended up watching HANNAH MONTANA THE MOVIE! O: AHAHA! AND the best and most unexpected part is that IT WAS ACTUALLY REALLY FUNNY! x) Seriously, although the poster of the movie basically tells you not to watch it, I can't believe that it was actually a good watch! I mean in the movie right, there was this guy/woman (sorry, I'm not very sure) behind us laughing really badly! Ahaha, although there's a slight guilt about ignoring Zun Dian when he initially asked us to watch it with him, hehe, sorry there sister :(

Then afterwards, we couldn't decide what to get for dinner but we settled down for Thai Express and whoa, the TOM YUM there never dissapoints me! :D Ahaha, sadly, it burns lips and Ziyi drank more water than she drank soup! hahaha! :D

Oh well :)

And last night, I was having a good time with banana, recalling all the old school songs in our memories! Here's my own old-school-list, the songs of pretty much when we were young and I used to listen to them through good old casette tapes (y)!! Like like:

I know of a girl and she has this dream.
She wants to see all the different and many things in the world left undiscovered! She'll have a camera in her hand, a credit card hopefully in her purse & she'll fill up her passport with many visa stamps :) And then she'll go for bungee jumping, because that's what she always wanted to do, probably in Brazil! (they say they have the BEST waterfall jumping site) She better be doing good in her life though, because there's a 7 star hotel in Dubai waiting for her to spend a night at! But that's not all of the world that she wants to see, not yet! She won't miss out places that arent the prettiest but definitely ones with the purest of hearts, she'll spend some time in the nature, living with it, not obsessing though, no can't do! There's the beaches too that she'll stomp around at, and the beautiful European countries that she'll get lost in! But at the end of the book, when she loses herself, she'll settle back in her lovely hometown to rediscover herself and to have a good nice warm cup of tea.
I know she has that dream, and I hope she fulfills it! And you know what, here's the ticket right here for you to get up on board! :D YEEHA!

Anywayyy, I just wanted to share with you guys two really inspiring & touching movies with a good plot I've watched just recently! Okay firstly, I was dying to catch Slumdog Millionaire & I couldn't in the cinemas simply because it was NC16! Grahhhh, but of course by hook or by crook, I managed to set my eyes on it! I really think the story plot was well-written and in the sense that it's something novel. Spoilers you can always refer to wikipedia! :D And it was really a five stars show!

A) He cheated.
B) He's lucky.
C) He's a genius.
D) It is written. "

Was a really good watch.

And yet another one, I just watched The Bucket List, anyway it's about this two old men who met each other at a hospital and their time was just up really soon! So, they started a list of things to do and just did what they wanna do for the few little remaining time of their lives! I totally admire how they portrayed all this in the movie! It was really good in my opinion! :)

1) Art Camp was a blast! - By far, staying at school was seriously a fun experience! And note to self to bring a blanket next time! For more detailsy, gogo to huishi's blog! :D That girl blogs right after the camp! *two thumbs up!*

Whooo :D Told you it was fun! That long way to the colourful bridge! Gahhhhhhh! Haha, oh! And also after that camp, we learnt that yu xiang has pointy eyebrows with two moles symetrically, strategically placed on top of them!! (Cool)

:D Hello little fishies!
I know you're as bored out as I am in your process of 'mugging' or hardcore studying!
So, anyway.. here's five tips on staying awake by yourself & not dozing off to sleep constantly (which usually always happens to me! shhh, no one needs to know!) There is of course no insurance that the following tips will work or that it'll give you super powers to get all that bloody bio into your head! (: So here comes nothinggg!

1) Try studying in the toilet..
I don't really know why anyone would do that really.. But here's the pros of doing this! Firstly, no parents would allow you to bring your laptop into the toilet and you won't use your desktop too! So, that eliminates all possible distractions of the computer! However, being inside the toilet, you'll most probably be eager to bring your mobile phone in, hence the SMS-es will still haunt you, plus, I don't think toilets are the best smelling locations in the world, do you?

2) Take a break..
Yeah! Never ever ever overwork yourself! (This is Chris' rule) I totally insist this to all those hardworking people out there who are study-maniacs. Well, true, if you don't study you'll be screwed but no one should ever do this without a break. I mean like take a kit-kat? Or just walk around your whole house! :D Ahaha, but you know, by taking this tip seriously, you'll end up just like me, which is.... taking too long a break ;)

3) Take a balance..
Never bury yourself in notes and books. Go out once in a while! Or so to say, do something!! Like go for a yoga lesson! Or go for a swim! And play some Wii! You deserve it people!

4) Entertain yourself..
It would never kill you to laugh at yourself occassionally.. :D Well, on the ways you can do this, it totally depends on your own capabilites, your own weirdness & your own sense of humour.. It's subjective! Like say for me...

Works! 8)

Or you can also simply bug your nearest sibling! (Although I wouldn't really support this, considering I get bothered by my sister almost all the time! STOP BLOWING BUBBLES TO ME!!!) *deeeeeeeepressed*

5) Take your short studying time seriously..
Well both you and I know that in reality we never follow our own rules, always broke them and always will.. So! I guess the most we can do is to really concentrate when we're actually studying! Like.. use your own secret techniques to drill the information into your brain! Examples are like talking to yourself, drawing your own little pictures to help yourself remember information, rewriting the whole set of notes, doing endless practices! You name it, you do it. And as to my own studying technique? Well, I'm trying this for bio, since I hate memorising things..

Oh well! It is showing some good effects on me, not so sure if it'll work on everyone! So, if you think it'll work for you, go ahead give it a try! :D

Although for obvious reasons, everyone's suffering!:/ (While some other lucky people from other schools, enjoy the 9 days break!) Hmff. Haha! Alright, 4 common tests after the holidays sounds like a good deal to kill us all 8)

But nevertheless, I'm making the best out of the holidays! :DD So I'm gonna share that with you ppl!!

Right, let's take it from the top! Starting with Friday! When we had 'Don't Forget the Lyrics' at school! It was something like a chaos - what happens when parents are not around! ;) *winkwink*

But being in the theatrette, eating little bit of this and that for dinner, hosting it, making people sing, laughing at people sing, looking at the support we got, spending time with awesome friends = a freaking awesome night :D Seriously! Haha! I can't remember all the songs yeah but you can trust me when I say Shao Hao can do some Indian thriller! ;)

Haha! The fun didn't end there! After DFTL! We played super awesome dares! Seriously, some were ridiculously funny! :D You know what, from now on, everyone should come prepared if you all wanna play dares with us! *laughs evilly*

Next up, Saturdayyyyy! It was time for a final goodbye to Alvin! For that, 301+302+303 (being super duper uber mega nice) held a BBQ party for him! Of course, most credit to the planners! :D Whoa, where to begin!

I just personally think that you made the boys grow up! :D And us too actually! Haha, it's weird but oh well! And don't worry too much about your mom thinking that you're gay ;) Thanks for all, Harvard!

Let's see...
Alright! Started my way there with the accompany of Huimin, Amanda & Wei Han! :) Haha, if not for them, I wouldn't have left home! Nor would I have found my way there! xD It was pretty comical when we saw Hu, ZhiSheng & Nich Kong at Bedok MRT and they wouldn't trust the Bedok expert Amanda and refused to take the bus we took! So, in the end, we reached Bayshore Park 30 minutes earlier than them! (Tssssssssssssssk! Sometimes, women just have a better sense of direction! Although that doesn't apply for me! :])

And then! Well, we spent good time! I got wet, people got wet! Yiong came, yiong left & then we started the BBQ-ing! :) If you ppl recall, there was a goooood heavy rain that poured right down on us around the afternoon/evening time! And thank goodness the people BBQ-ing next to us brought a 'roof' to shelter us!

Honey, nothing's bringing us down tonight!

They were good kind people & wanted to shelter us too! Then it was like cool, dramatic & fun at the same time, when they didn't have enough rope to put up the roof! I mean like, it's like filming a movie! xD Then the cool part was when like 10-15 people were holding up the roof with brute manpower! And all of us were like working tgt to hold up the roof!! :D & of course the gang of us at the bbq pit were struggling to keep the fire burning! Seriously, fun stuff!

Oh man! I'm starting to think that I can go on and on and on and on and on if I wanna narrate the whole thing! So.. let me fast forward some parts! :D

Right, then afterwards, we started to play Dare&Dare! Ahaha, just like Friday! But you know what, the dares keep getting better!!!! :D Hahahaha, okay for one! I seriously can't forget some! Like don't mention it to me, I won't stop laughing! xD Oh well! My lucky dare was to run around the pool with wayne's shirt in my hand! Muuuuuuuuch better than some others ;)

Without whom, I would have took 3 days to figure out :D

AFTER THAT!
Amanda, Huimin, Pancake & I went for Singapore's first ever E-Awards Ceremony at the Marina Floating Platform! Wheeeh :) Although I must admit, since it's all in Chinese, I didn't really feel the thrill of seeing stars, but the whole atmosphere was pretty awesome! (8

YESS! PULAU SEMAKAU :)

Wheh, yup so along with my five other sisters, we went to the tiny but breath-taking island on 27/11! It was really loads of fun being close to nature. Especially loved 'wading' around in high tide! hahaha, and the boat ride was better than I expected! Plus, we had a really cute group name: "Pufferfish"! So, basically it can more or less be summarised in this collage!

Anyway, hello! Yay, I'm blogging. But relatively, I'm quite busy! So for the first time, I'll just do a short post! :D Well, just three pictures:

Yeah! This is the part where you have to agree with me! (Regardless of any conditions, hee) So, the one on the left is a yellow/gold themed one which was made with loads of help from wife's Mom & the one on the right is a silver/blue-rosed one which I made myself!! Hooray to me. Haha!

This is something I kept eating whenever I'm at a Japanese restaurant! With motherbot that is! So, basically it's baby octopus & yes, try not to think it biologically. What matters is that the creator of this dish is really quite a genius because it tastes so nice but this addiction is making a big hole in my pocket! D: Still to say the least, it's super delicious!

What does that picture mean?
Well, I keep seeing this whenever I take the MRT on the purple line and I can't help but be really curious about it. I know the 3 other pictures mean - pregnant woman, woman with kids & the elderly.. but when it comes down to a man holding a cup, huh?!
Hopefully it means people who bring drinks onto the MRT, then it'll make me a priority passenger. Teehee! :D

As mentioned, this is all that I've got in store for you! :) Tomorrow, the 27th, I'm going to Pulau Semakau for Project Semakau (how original, heeh) for an inter-tidal walk! So, I hope it's rewarding & that everything goes well.. :D Apart from that, I just started Facebook! Which I find entertaining to poke Huimin! Hee. So add me & then I can poke you! :)

Also, today officially marks me 4 days left to stay in Singapore before I fly off & I haven't even pack yet! Oh bother. :) Anyway.. here's the very last thing: WATCH IT!

Hey there :) Well, firstly.. many apologies for the delay in posting! Well, I was just waiting to accumulate all of them into one post! Hiak hiak hiak. Save my energy :P So, once again, party people here decided to roam about around this little sunny island againnn! 8)

Started with, after AMC on Tuesday! We headed off happily to East Coast park! :D Just take a look at the pics later to see who went haha! I won't bother to list it out! teehee. So from school, we took a really long ride on a double-decker bus to East Coast! (leaded by our trustworthy Amanizer, and not me phew!) and then we basically just ate Macs then went to cycle! Wahaha, it was all fun luh! I was like singing with Semi while riding hahah. But somehow I hade major mestrual cramps (?) probably.. So I was like resting :D and since I couldn't continue, we started to play Truth or Dare instead!

I totally think that that game is turning scary by the moment! Especially the dares of course, which gets so absurd I'm not even allowed to blog about it ;) Wahaha, but it's definitely lots of good laughs! And in any case that you end up as one of our 'victims', just do bite your shirt & bear with it! xD Juuuust kidding!

Yup, the last part about making a wish? Yeah! I threw a 5 cents coin into the fountain and everyone made a wish. (And yes, if you were wondering, I missed..) So, Rui threw another 10 cents coin in and we all made a wish again.. Well, at least I hope mine comes true.. :D Won't say it, cause they'll lose their charm if I did! hehe.

Oh man, where to begin! I don't know you know, I have this mixed feeling like.. I'm happy then I'm sad, I'm energetic then lethargic, I'm missing people then I just made a new friend. Odd :l Whatever it is, I'm highly positive that even with this school term coming to an end, the story of the M08203 doesn't! Affirmation.

Starting with "Sports Day" aka "NUSHS Youth Olympics yadah" yup! And it was a little different from the past years I guess! Purely because Nobel is so cool! When the seniors are gone, it might be a different story :( But whatever! all the best! And Whisky the mascot pwns all :P

I guess I've got nothing to complain about my results, just that I am such a failure in languages, hahahaha! No wonder Valles isn't teaching us anymore. :( But then back in that classroom for the last time of this year.. it was something near to a torture! Like.. knowing that we're stepping into that same room as a 203 for the last time. Sheeeesh, oh i'm so emotional! hahaha.

GOOD MORNING/AFTERNOON!
SUP! heh.
Just as promised, I'm back to continue with yesterday's unfinished post! So, after Monday's leap of freedom, you couldn't possibly expect us to just be happy with one day. Heh, that's why following Monday came the class outing on 4/11 :D I must say!
I was looking forward to this so much & for so long!

Well, it started out with waking up late that day. Heh, I'm always fashionably late, tyty.
And then I headed down to dhoby ghaut which wasn't exactly a long journey but before I know it right, i was being buzzed by phone calls! Just because I was 6 minutes late! :(:(

Hehe, and the comical part is that I was called the 'Tourguide' & you know how bad my sense of direction is! :P After reaching the MRT station, it was cheerful to see Mother, Father, Semi, Zhi Sheng, Rui, Zunny, Teck Lim & Kai Jie who made a really weird group to be standing randomly outside the control station! hehe. Meanwhile, CTL & Barney kept on eloping around happily, while I was starting to go frantic, teehee! And we waited for the rest to come & left Sharne who was late to make his own way to...

Well, thanks to the $70 Swensens voucher 203 got from winning the Interclass Captain's Ball this sem, we treated ourselves to ice-creams! Muaha, no being jealous! :D I keep on getting scolded by Barn cos I was like leading people to wrong directions! hehehhe! And later, Yiong & I got ourselves a Double Berry which tasted pretty heavenly, except!! for the oldschool vanilla, which was definitely no deal.

Haha! And so after savouring the ice-cream, the 19 of us headed for mindcafe! Whee! And by 19, I mean..

Amanda, Sankar, Beverly, Teck Lim, Gloria, Rui, Me!, Jorgin, Semi, Hui Min, Zhi Sheng, Sharne, Wen Hui, Wen Li, Kai Jie, Ziyi, Tan Shan, Zun Dian, Andrew!

Wheeh! Great turnout eh? :) So, If you haven't heard of MindCafe before, it's like this cafe (d'oh) where you can also play board games while eating luh! Actually, we were more attracted by board games of course! :D Whoa, I tell you, it was WILD!

We first started by playing like this game called 'eh-wait-i-forgot-the-name:P' and it was funny when people had to charade like flirtatious & sleazy, hehehe! Sister does it best! hahaha. And then we played like taboo, then Guestures & they were totally hilarious I tell you. Hahah, but the main highlight for me was the last game!! It was like this Dinosaur game, okay, so we piled up like 7 bones (played by 8 people) in the middle and then there were cards which we had to trade with others so that we will end up with a whole deck of the same colour! And the last laggiest person not to get any bone will have to do a forfeit! :D Simple? You have no idea...

Haha and the forfeits? :P

Sharne had to Aloha dance to Rui!
Sharne had to hop along the corridor like a kangaroo!
Sharne had to finish one whole packet of chilli sauce!
Sharne had to shake hands with one of the staff and tell them ironically 'Thank you, and come back to Mind Cafe again!'
Sharne also had to dance on top of the sofa and sing 'I believe I can fly!' (but got scolded by the staff there hehehe)
Zhi Sheng had to go around saying 'I'm a Bone-man' to other tables!
Zhi Sheng had to tell Zun that he was taking too long in the bathroom x)
Zun had to dance the cowboy dance!
Father had to take a picture with a guy from the next table.
Father had to hug someone from the table. *wiggbro*
Father had to express his enthusiasm over the game of conquering the world next table! hahah, but end up poking his own palm into one of those little soldiers.
Mother had to take a picture with a girl from another table.
Rui & I had to hug. AHHHH! haha, that's what happens when there's a mutual forfeit -.-

Oh well, maybe I forgot some, but these are the forfeits that I remember clearly luh! Haha, especially the last one, cheh. Anyway, it was loads and trucks of fun! & thank you so much 203 for making that day so wonderful!!

Heh, I know.. I've ditched the blog for eons, but whatever! I'm back in action! & there are so many chapters I haven't pen down here! But let me start with the most recent ones? So, at least I won't forget them with my stml. ;)

School was really tiring I guess?
At some point of time in the past month, we were handling 5 projects at once, mugging hard for exams, sleeping late every night & just just.. sooo caught in this messy rush.
But you know what?
WE SURVIVED!!!

After fighting this fast-paced battle of the year, it's time to break free! whoo! :D And that's exactly what yours truly did! Celebrate!!!

3/11: Day 1 of freedom
Yep! End of MA2104: Trigo Paper and that's it! No more pulling-out-hair kind of nerve wreck or anything! Screw ups in exams were forgotten too anw (: Nothing, nothing could stop us from running wild now wahah!

So, what the bunch of us (gagas) did was to head towards vivo! And trust me, this was after like an hour long discussion! hahaa. It was too early when we reached, so we idled off our time away at 'PageOne' and then afterwards, catched HighSchoolMusical3!
...
IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!
Seriously, maybe it's me but I just know I laughed so many times out of nowhere that my wife at seat 12 was bugging me to zip it! hahaha! Jokes.
Oh well, it was worth the watch anw :) Heh, so simply put, we spent away the minutes reminiscing, chatting, laughing, eating & just just chilling out!

It sure was a whale of a time :)

Now i feel super hyped about it! So, basically it's a 8 days 7 nights trip I think! With school of course, we shall be venturing around in an island of Aussie! :P This is how cool a biology field trip can get.. So, random grouping landed me with Wen Hui, JiaQing & Dorothy.. So I hope it'll all go well :D

Hi blog,

So, I'm sort of staring into the laptop, thinking of today since it's around 8pm and the rest of my day would probably be spend doing work. Oh well, it was always that way eh.

Anyway, now I'm being I-don't-know-what-word-would-fit.
Maybe paranoid. Maybe.
2 days ago, before I went to sleep and wander off to dreamland, I just suddenly said to my mom (I really have no idea why):
"Grandma; why don't you invite her here?"

I think I surprised my mom in sort of a bad way. She sounded shocked. She told me she was trying to, but there were always reasons. She asked me why I mentioned Grandma out of no where. I was sleepy plus had no answers to that question.

Yesterday, we went to fetch Dad at the airport around 9pm+ after tuition. Was nothing out of the ordinary, except was really glad to see him after like 2 months! And that he met some of his long lost friends and we sent them to their hotel. But nevertheless, today over lunch, topics lead one by one to Grandma. And I just..

Nevermind, I don't know how to continue that sentence myself.

Just before this post, I was doing History Project on my desk, when a big fly flew into the room. I directed it out of the window with my conventional file, but it flew back in after a few seconds. And now it makes me wonder..

I love my Grandma. She's quite old, stubborn and always full of pride. She's tough, strong-willed and always caring for those she love. When I was still in Myanmar, or even when I go back during the holidays, she tells me about her life, about when she was young, how she raised her four kids and what not. Yep, and her cooking is still the best ever. Five years ago, when I left for here, she told us to study hard but as she sent us off, her eyes were redshot.

I would love to have her for as long as it could be, as long as it would be. I would see her twice every year, if I'm lucky, more. I'm scared of losing her just like the way we all lost Grandpa. I felt like there's much I could do for her, maybe sing karaoke with her. Dance with her to Boney M or something. She likes Michael Jackson & Theresa Tseng (sp?). She likes hip things during her era.

I feel like I'm writing a descriptive essay. Just that it's not fictional and not to be passed up to Chan. But I just hate regrets! I just.. urgh! I'm silly, aren't I?

Whatever it is, it's not that I'm not aware that one will go when time comes, but I just wish that my Grandma would stay healthy & strong for years to come!

Yeah, everything will be alright.
Today's gloomy but tomorrow will be cheerful.
I love snow, but rain is just alright.
Singing is a hobby but singing out of tune is priceless.

Apparently, as Hui Min & I sat aimlessly by the children playground, we had quite an interestingly interesting 'long' conversation!

Her: 'Yeah, I dont' know what I'm thinking about!'
.. 2 minutes later ..

For that long, we were either thinking about something or not thinking at all! Haha, it's like both of us were drifting away in some other planet and every few minute was a random comment!

A little itsy bitsy special post!!

And why?
BECAUSE.. TODAY IS 8/8/08!
HOW CAN I POSSIBLY MISS THAT? ;D

Gahh! having triple 8 on your calendar is so wicked! It's a once-in-a-lifetime thang! And knowing me, I love things that are memorable!! So, today is a super nice day! :D

I love today! because...
1. Have never seen people so enthu over National Day celebration in school! :P
1 and a half. Visited Mr Yee who was sick at home! (Hey my card rocks :D)
2. Watched Dark Knight!
(Special mention to Semi whom I had no fate to watch the show with! Gahhh!)
3. Shopping at Daiso: & I won't be able to do this again b'cos it was just too tiring for good!
4. Did something productive like: go to tuition!
5. Not to forget, Beijing Olympics 2008!

Talking about that, I must thank Douglas for letting us off at 7.45! Then, I managed to watch the start of the Olympics! :D Yay! Long live douglas!

Anyway, Beijing Olympics' manpower was like terrifying! Hahah, the human force alone can probably start a whole new World War or something! Scaryyy! But their choreography and timing were amazing! Like, how a few hundreds of people are doing the same action at the same time! (And yes, they all have the same hair!)

And earlier today was celebration at school so that was fun! Whoa! 202's performance was damn funny! Like I could simply keep on watching that indian dance in repeat! Hoho! The music sounded so familiar, I think that's one of the indian songs with the weird english translations on youtube i think! Haha! *shrugs*

So, after celebrations, we went off to visit poor Mr Yee at his house, with JQ leading us! And us bytheway is Me, Bev, WL, Huimin & Amanda! And when he said that his house was near school, it's really NOT near. I made this really big card for him and then everyone wrote their well wishes! Sad thing was I lost the one I made ytd in school D: So, we did it all over again :D! Wheeeh \m/
Nevertheless, hope you're up & bouncing by next week Mr Yee the Hawaiian!
(I don't know why I wrote that cos if Mr Yee really reads this, then that means he's at my blog and that means he'll be reading my previous post and that will be funny! :D)

One of those chinese lessons, when I first saw Rui being so squeezed into one table with wenli and huimin, I found it so hilarious I had to even ask short Joel to come take a look at the spasticity! It's like this Barney stuck on the same table with a bunch of his 'friends'! Ahahaha!
And that lesson I stole his seat, invented a special table and we slacked since Liu came like 20 minutes late! 8)

Oh man! Yesss, 2/8/08! Proud to say, the camp was actually fun! Things like 'ehlephants', Shane singing Pokemon Song?! Hitching a ride on the truck?! xD My my, for the first camp for Interact Club, I think it's quite memorable! Like it may be quite boring with the talks and yadah, but it was great fun! So, 'kudos!' to Mel! :D Exco had a fun time i guess! And like Shawn should never do prize duty with me again! Haha!

Zun's Birthday
Uhuh! Good sister treated us lunch! 'White Dog's Cafe!' Funny time! Watched the Mummy Returns 3. It was such a hilarious show! And the five of us were actually sitting on the first row! And hear this: We sat on the floor to watch the show... :D:D:D:D:D (Try this at least once in your life k! haha)

Okay, firstly my hurdle for NAPFA is inclined pull-ups! So, last thursday, mom pushed me hard! And I can't believe I managed to do 10 and after that I was like bouncing around! Hahaha! Nowadays, i feel so fortunate to be in this very special class! Everyone's cooperative, everyone's nice, everyone's talking and everyone's laughing... Just like I was telling Yiong the other day, I really wished we could remain 203 for the next two years, I don't mind at all! Gah =/ I guess, there's no being perfect!

So, as simple as how Rui became Barney-meimei, we had a little party on the following Saturday, which was 12/7! :D

It was uber hilarious because a few seconds after the picture, Huimin totally fell down the chair! XD

I love you so much & all the times we've had together. Be it silly, dumb or retarded! (Or even confucious-like sometimes!) I remember once I asked you why we've never fought before and that by right, best friends always fight and patch it up to each other again. And then we had no answer but I guess now that's because we understood each other very well! Even if we aren't in the same school anymore, I am so glad that we've still stayed together just like last time and not missing any moment of each other's lives! :) Nearly two years now, we've made so much new lovely lovely friends (you know who! looks at you!) and we've shared almost every fun, joy and laughter with each other! Crushes, disputes, confusement, embarassing moments, funny quotes & many more - there was nothing to hide away from you!
Girl, 10 years from now and even more, I wish we never fade away! I'll be there for you no matter when where or however! :D To my maid-of-honour! ^^

Haha, hello blog! :D
Here's a special additional chapter to the last one simply because..
I just couldn't stand it!

See, as our dear experiences tell us there are three 3 types of volunteers.

Type A: decent, eager & feels-sorry-if-unable-to-attend! These shall be the best type of volunteers in our project history! :)

Type B: whiny, lazy & capable-yet-noisy! This the type of volunteer that cannot survive alone. Hilarious yet unfocused! This is the kind of volunteer that gives me headaches!

Type C: ghey, bodyguard & pretty-helpful-but-thinks-my-random-quotes-are-super-funny-huh?!!! These are the most recent type of volunteers we've recruited and they are quite toughies! Recruiting more of this type will sure help in our project :D

So, you've seen it! Here are the people that've made our SL projects funny, memorable & you name it, we've got it! There have been so many random and meaningful moments that one would only experience if you're down here with us! ^^

CHAPTER 2: Youth for Causes:D
Hohoho, dear blog!
Righteous, so here comes the next chapter - a pretty meaningful one!

Yup, so if you're wondering what this is all about then let me explain it to you! ^^
Since June this year, me and my girls (Bev,Huimin,Amanda) took part in this competition about youth proposing service learning project to make a difference and we were provided around $1,600 seedfunding. And it's called 'Youth For Causes' which is organised by YMCA & Citibank.

Right, so that was the commerical part! haha!

But what you won't see on the surface is..
- long & tiring days of street sales xD
- lots & lots of reports to submit
- funny volunteers
- funny encounters with donors
- travelling around to get a good spot 8)

Even if this sounds pretty tedious to you, to me at the end of the day, there is this sense of satisfication that you-know, we've done something good, something for the better of others! :)

Heh, our project's far from complete so, there's a lot more oil to add and a lot more work to be done! :P No matter, there's always my team members pushing me on to run the extra mile to the finish point! Hoho!

You see, owing to the fact that I've not been blogging at all! I've got soo much to say, soo much to write and soo much to basically do anything! x) So I'll be blogging in Chapters (hoho, just like Perry)! So, let me start!

Heh, it was our little celebration for Perry's birthday cum Meet-up since a million years ago! And of course - it was so so nice to see these folks again after losing contact for really long..

Sentosa was our destination, and we had so much fun it's kinda indescribable.
But well, we got Perry a 'surprise' cake, played in the water like nuts! Salt gets into our eyes/mouth which was really grosss! Other things like, my *cough* shirt with Cheryl's emergency towel! Quote: {Welcome to Sentosa!}

And we were absoultely having fun playing around with Cheryl's cameraaa! Hahaha, and I was going pyschotic laughing with ST, AN and Shawnaaa! :D Then, I remember distantly that there was this time when one of the boys kicked this beach ball too far away and a group of NS boys were like stealing it, pretending that we didn't see it. (duh!) Oh well, hooligans haha! Now I can't remember anymore...

Hahaha! Then, at dinner, I think.. it was perry who ordered this supermegaultrauberduper hot indian food with chilli inside! And he was the one who took the first bite and afterwards, the rest of us tried and the expressions are soooo priceless! Hahah, especially JK's face, it made me laugh for like forever! Hahaha! :D

Oh well! :) It was such a heartwarming day. I love every single one of them and that's the way it goes! Even though times may change, even though we may change, without any of you, there will not be me today! You are the people that fill up my childhood memories and i will be holding you close to my heart forever and more! :)

When it first struck on Saturday, I was super worried basically cos we couldn't reach Daddy. All the phone lines were dead and everything. But hey, it all got better and we finally managed to go through on Monday. (He called. Thank gosh)
So now, the death toll is really high and the damage is.. horrendous! I really hope I can do what I can.. probably come up with something! (I hope to!) :D When that time comes, I'll definitely need all your help!! :]

Geez, waking up at 7 or 8am everyday just to plan how practically wasteful I'll spend another day is quite sadly pathetic. :D that's me! Then, again... Half of me wish that I could shut down my comp, close the doors, open the air-con, and stare at the paper.. Then, that would probably be more effective!

Steps to Study:
1) Psycho yourself with words like "I love physics", "Co-ordinate Geometry is like so abc", "Geography is my thang!"
2) Then, look at the paper.
3) Fold it into the size that will fit your little brain.
4) STUFF IT IN!! ;D

I am 100% sure that it'll work. Of course, if otherwise, that's completely out of my concern ^^.

Heh! Well, I must say this v.day was funny! :D We wanted to stalk couples HEH! And the whole lot was completely comical! And then my whole day was pretty chocolatey as well! Hehe!
